I look out
see the sun rising
over the ice-soaked horizon.
Frozen crystal surrounds
yet within you
there is shelter.

Pine needles dart
from pristine snow
seeking to harm.
At your touch
they melt away
my heart settles to calm.

We fight through glades thick with faces
tendrils circle in,
suffocating my thoughts.
You unfold your hand, show me the key
breath rushes in
my soul remains unwrought.

Clouds gather overhead
wolves at dawn
yet your grace burns like the sun.
Through your tender force
the veil is torn
No longer do I have to run.

You have led me forth
to this vital field
enveloping my essence with love unwritten.
Gravity scratches,
cruel visions she wields
still I am saved by your gentle passion.
